Biography

Dr. Kahura Ndung’u is a Lecturer of Communication, Media Studies and Public Relations in the Department of Human Resource Development in the School of Business at Karatina University, Kenya. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nairobi (1990), Post-Graduate Diploma in Education from Kenyatta University (1996), Master of Arts (Communication Studies) at the University of Nairobi (2012). He later obtained his Doctorate degree in Communication Studies from Karatina University (2022).

He served as a Tutorial Fellow for eight years in the department and was appointed to the position of a Lecturer in 2023, a position he holds up to date.

His research interest is in the area of Development Communication with special focus on Health Communication.

He has published his work in international journals that include: Journal of Communication and Language Arts, Journal of Communication and Media Research and Caleb Journal of Social and Management Science.
