Dr Caroline Biwott is a lecturer in the School of Business, department of Human Resource Development at Karatina University where she has been a member of academic staff since 2012. Caroline holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Communications Studies and Master of Philosophy degree in Communication studies, both from Moi University. Her research interests are in the area of Communication, Public Relations and the Media.
Dr Biwott is currently a trainer, an internal examiner, post graduate supervisor and a researcher. She has worked in various capacity at the University as an examinations coordinator, timetable coordinator, industrial attachment coordinator, ISO champion, post graduate coordinator and as an academic leader in an acting capacity. She is also a trained ISO Internal Quality Auditor and the patron of the Journalism Club at Karatina University.
Dr Biwott is an active participant in a number of international forums which include Global Landscaping Forum (GLF) media, Global Peace Foundation, EdHeroes Global Forum, African Society for Social and Behaviour Change (AS-SBC), Forum for African Women Educationist (FAWE) and Gender Is My agenda Campaign (GIMAC) network.
Dr Biwott currently serves as Member of the Board of University of Eldoret High School. She mentors the youth and women in the community. In addition, she actively participates in church activities and community development.
