Biography

Vincent is a Tutorial Fellow in the School of Pure and Applied Sciences, Department of Computer Science and Informatics at Karatina University; I have been navigating the realm of academia since 2015 in Karatina University.

My journey has seen me take on the crucial role of Timetable and Examination Coordinator in the department, where I have had the privilege of contributing to the smooth functioning of academic operations by playing a crucial role in ensuring the seamless scheduling of classes and the smooth conduct of examinations, contributing significantly to the department’s functional excellence. This responsibility has not only honed my organizational skills but has also given me a deeper understanding of the intricacies of academic management.

Alongside my professional commitments, I am pursuing a Ph.D. at Kisii University in Information Sciences and I hold a Master of Science degree in Library and Information Management from Moi University. I am an active member of professional associations such as the Kenya Library Association and the Kenya Association of Records and Archives Management. These affiliations are a testament to my commitment to staying connected with the broader professional community and staying informed about the latest developments in my field.

My research focus lies in the critical intersection of disaster planning and preparedness in Information Centers and Information Management. My academic endeavors reflect a dedication to addressing contemporary challenges in the field, with potential far-reaching implications.
