Dr. Maureen Olunga is a lecturer in the school of Pure and Applied Sciences at Karatina University Kenya where she has worked since 2012. Currently she is the coordinator of Post graduate studies in her department and coordinator of the Biological section of the department.
Maureen is a specialist in Medical and Veterinary Parasitology with research experience in epidemiology and chemotherapy of helminth diseases using plant extracts, competent in teaching, research and curricula review. She holds a PhD and MSc in Parasitology from Moi University Kenya, a Post Graduate diploma in Biology and Chemistry from Egerton University Kenya and a BSc in Zoology and Biochemistry from University of Nairobi Kenya.
