Biography

Dr. Gideon Thuku is a Lecturer of Economics in the Department of Business and Economics in the school of business at Karatina University, Kenya. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics in 2003 From Kenyatta University, Kenya and Masters of Arts (Economics) degree in 2011 from the same Institution. He later obtained his Doctorate in Economics in 2020 still from Kenyatta University. His research interests are in the areas of Public sector economics, Mathematical Economics and labour economics. He has published his work in research publications including Journal of Economics and Finance, Journal of Economics and Sustainable Development and International Journal of management sciences. After serving as a tutorial Fellow for several years in the department, he was appointed to the position of a Lecturer in 2021 a position he holds up to date
