Dr. Teresia Ngonjo is a lecturer in the school of Pure and Applied Sciences at Karatina University. She has been a faculty member since 2012. She specializes in Applied Parasitology and epidemiology of parasitic infectious diseases. Teresia completed her PhD, Masters and undergraduate studies at Kenyatta University. She evaluated the effectiveness of anthelminthic drug-albendazole in deworming programs. Her research interests are mainly on epidemiology, transmission dynamics, control of Parasitic diseases and public health. She collaborated effectively with researchers from KEMRI for her post graduate research activities in school-based deworming program (SBDP) and in Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD).
