Biography

Dr. Michael Gachahi is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education and Social Sciences at Karatina University has been a faculty member since 2016. He is the Head of Education Department  and specializes in Curriculum Studies and Teacher Education. Dr. Gachahi completed his Ph.D. at Maasai Mara University in 2014, Master of Education degree at the University of Nairobi in 2010 and his undergraduate studies at Kenyatta University in 1995. His research interests lie in the area of Curriculum Studies and Teacher Education. He has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines including food security, particularly in the area of  post harvest losses in maize.
