Dr. Lucy Muthoni Murage is a lecturer in the School of Education and Social Sciences at Karatina University where she has been a faculty member since 2021. She is a lecturer and specializes in educational administration, management and leadership. Dr. Lucy Murage completed her Ph.D. at Karatina University in 2019 and her undergraduate studies at the University of Nairobi. Her research interest lies in the area of student leadership in public universities. She has collaborated actively with researchers in other disciplines of education, particularly curriculum development and implementation of ICT in education.
Dr. Lucy Murage has served on roughly six international conferences as a technical support and several workshop committees on university curriculum development and reviews. She has served as university programs officer. She also served as High School Deputy Principal and Principal between 1991 and 1998; Guidance & Counselling Coordinator, Dean of Students and Deputy Principal in a teacher training college between 1999 to 2005. Dr. Lucy Murage is currently the school postgraduate studies coordinator, examination coordinator in the department of Education, ISO champion and KarU Quality Management Systems (QMS) Auditor. She plays an active mentorship role to teens, youth and young women in the community.
