Dr Kabethi J Miano is a lecturer at Karatina University in the School of Business. He has a Phd in Project Management from Kenyatta University, a Master’s degree in Project Planning and Management form University of Nairobi and a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Economics and business studies) from Maseno University.  He is a Certified Public Accountant with CPA(K), a Lead Expert in Environmental Impact Assessment and Audit, and a trained specialist in Project Monitoring and Evaluation. Currently serving as the Head, Department of Business and Economics at Karatina University. He has previously served in the public service as a District Officer. He is the treasurer of Karatina University Saving and Credit Cooperative Society Limited.

Dr Kabethi is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), Environment Institute of Kenya (EIK) and Evaluation Society of Kenya (ESK). He sits as a member of Board of Management in three public schools. He has lectured for over thirteen years in project management, project monitoring and evaluation, project finance
