Dr Charles Wahogo is a lecturer in the School of Pure and Applied Sciences at Karatina University where he has been since 2012. He has been the Head of Department from 2012 to 2016. He specializes in Applied Mathematics. Wahogo completed his PhD in 2021 at Moi University, his Masters and undergraduate at Kenyatta University. His Research interests lie in Mathematical modeling of infectious diseases both in-vivo and in-vitro. He is currently the chair of Innovation and Exhibition committee in the School of Pure & Applied Sciences,chair Departmental examination board and the chair departmental post graduate committee.
Dr Wahogo has attended and presented papers in conferences most recent being at Kenyatta University in 2022. In 2023 he attended and participated in AIMS summer school and is currently in the committee organizing Kenyatta University 2024 Mathematics conference
