Biography

Zablon Okari is a Tutorial Fellow in the School of Pure and Applied Sciences (SPAS) at Karatina University where he has served as a faculty member since 2014. Currently he is the program coordinator for Bachelor of Computer Science. Okari completed his Masters at KCA University in 2012 and his undergraduate studies at Catholic University of Eastern Africa in 2008. His research interests are in the area of data Science, machine learning and cyber security. 

Okari has actively been involved in several curriculum reviews in the school (SPAS) and currently he is the instructor of the following courses that cuts across several programs in the University; Data warehousing and mining, Database systems, Operating Systems, Open Source Systems and Advanced Database Systems
