Dr. Leen Kavulavu, is employed as a Lecturer in History at Karatina University in the School of Education and Social Science. She graduated with a PhD. Degree in History at Moi University in 2020. She also has a Masters Art degree in History at Moi University and graduated in 2014.
Dr. Leen Kavulavu academic growth started as a Tutorial Fellow in 2015 at Karatina University in the department of Humanities and Languages. She has a teaching experience of eight years at University level. Since her appointment at Karatina University, she has been involved in History curriculum review, supervision of postgraduate and undergraduate students and currently serves as the examination officer in the department of humanities and Languages, Dr.Leen Kavulavu has attended two training workshop on writing of grant proposal organized at Karatina University. She has published ten papers in a peer review journals and participated and presented ten papers in Conference Proceeding
