Professor Zachariah Kariuki Mbugua is an associate professor of mathematics education at Karatina University in Kenya, his area of specialization is mathematics education, research methods, statistical methods and measurement and evaluation in the school of Education and Social Sciences. He has a wide experience in the world of academia where he taught at Moi Girls High School Eldoret, Moi Science Teachers College, Moi University, Egerton University, Chuka University and currently at Karatina University, also taught at Kenyatta University as a part time lecturer.  He has attended and participated in several workshops and seminars, published more than forty articles in refereed journals and supervised more than fifty postgraduate theses as shown below
